MCM Salad Servers Spoons Set Silver 925 & Wood

Large, Elegant & Sleek

The large, elegant and sleek serving pieces are a beautiful combination of a dramatically patterned wood and hammered silver (marked 925 on the ends) bands / tips at the ends of the handles.  Each serving piece is under 13" long and under 3" wide (and 1 1/8" x 5/8" at the silver covered ends).  They are in very good used condition; there is very little evidence of use / wear.  These look like they might be from the 1950s or 1960s.  These vintage salad servers probably originally went with a  wood salad serving bowl that also had hammered silver trim (the base and/or the rim).  This classic set would fit in a minimalist MCM interior, but they would also be beautiful / simple / elegant serving pieces in a more traditional and fancier setting.  Also, these would be great serving pieces for many foods in addition to salads.  

It is difficult to find older wood salad servers in such great condition.  On this pair, the wood and the silver are both in wonderful shape!  (We will leave polishing the silver to you.)
