Vintage Royal Worcester London Landmarks 3 piece bone china set Made in England

  • 11000

The iconic and dramatic scenes by H. Davis of the Houses of Parliament, the Tower Bridge nand St. Paul’s Cathedral are in black on solid white bone china (with gold rims).  This vintage set, in its original box, includes a toothpick / cigarette holder / small vase and two small round dishes.  All three pieces are in excellent condition since they have been stored for generations in the original presentation box (with protective inserts/dividers).  Only the exterior of the box shows signs of age - from handling and storage in drawers and on shelves.

The River Thames is in all four scenes (the small vase or toothpick/cigarette holder has a scene on both sides).  Bridges and boats/ships (of many types and sizes) are in three scenes, and the fourth has boats but no bridge.

Westminster Bridge is in the HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT scene. THE TOWER BRIDGE is featured on the small vase (it is a flattened oval shape); the small vignette on the back also includes a bridge.

The Royal Worcester logo (with the words —    ROYAL WORCESTER    FINE BONE CHINA    ENGLAND) is on the bottom of each pieces as is the name of each London landmark   —  HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT   THE TOWER BRIDGE    ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL.

This classic and elegant set will bring English craftsmanship and design to any type of decor.

The round “pin dishes” are 3 3/4” in diameter at the rims and 2 3/8” at the bases. The height at the rim is 3/4”.  The other piece  is 2 1/2” tall.  At the base it is 1 1/4” x 2 1/2”. At the rim it is 1 1/4” x 3”.
