Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Plate - profile silhouette
National Portrait Gallery Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Plate 1952-2012 - profile silhouette
Of the many plates made to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee (1952-2012), this white plate with a silhouette profile of the young Queen Elizabeth is among the most simple, classic and “modern”.
The elegant profile at first glance appears to be black, but it is actually a very dark regal blue.
Because of the scarcity of this commemorative plate, we presume that the National Portrait Gallery in London did not have many of them made. On the back National Portrait Gallery is printed in the center with the three words stacked vertically. The surrounding circle of words reads — Celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II - 1952-2012 .
The plate is 8 1/8“ in diameter. It is in excellent condition.
The price includes free shipping to U.S. customers.
